In our back garden, March 2010:

Wynberg Boys High School is 3 minutes walk up the hill from home. An informal game of cricket is taking place on the nearest WBHS field, which we are viewing from a bench high up on the bank: you can see the steps leading down to the field on the left.

Now we turn around and look behind the bench, where we see a flower towering above us:
