Newlands

I lived in Newlands, on the bank of the Liesbeek River, from March 2007 to May 2008. Newlands Forest was 15 minutes walk away up the hill. These pictures belong to that period.

Rondebosch

While living at Newlands, I walked to Rondebosch, a half-hour walk north along the river or the main roads, a few times a week to do shopping, visit the library, or play chess:
